Joseph Kocsis, a multidisciplined design and manufacturing engineer encompassing mechanical, electrical and software arenas, is the Managing Director of ORION Electronic Equipment (Aust) Pty Ltd.

Since inception in Melbourne in 1958, ORION Electronic Equipment has specialised in the design & manufacture of state-of-the-art machinery.

Commencing with ORION as an Engineer, Joseph has years of experience in the converting machinery industry. Using the latest CAD facilities, ORION’S design competencies encompass mechanical, electrical, electronic and software disciplines. Joseph’s experience includes machine tools, sheet metal facilities, spray booth, and electronics workshop.

Joseph focuses on meeting client needs and maintaining the highest level of quality so all of ORION’s products are designed and manufactured in-house. Joseph has designed and produced countless special purpose machines, incorporating computerisation and servo technologies in Australia and internationally.

Joseph is particularly focused towards the flexible packaging industry, and he is an invaluable new member of our team.
