Are other sizes available?We aim to have three standard size KoolPaks available. The KoolPak 570 Silver is 570x370x370 The KoolPak 720 coming soon The KoolPak Ecom coming soon

Can I re-use a KoolPak?Yes. The KoolPak has been designed specifically for re-use. In-market trials have reported many KoolPaks being re-used at least 20 times.

How do I clean a KoolPak?Small-scale users can use any commercially available multi-purpose or kitchen cleaning spray to wipe out the KoolPak. For larger-scale users, Euro Pumps are developing sustainable automated cleaning solutions.

How do I store a KoolPak?The KoolPak boxes and liners are flat-packable for efficient storage and transportation. A simple drying rack is available from TomKat Global Solutions. We can also supply a speck for your preferred fabricator or construct to suit your application. The drying rack can be used to hygienically hang and store multiple KoolPak boxes and liners without taking up valuable storage space.

Do I need to use a single-use plastic liner bag in a KoolPak?No. We have developed customised food grade films that are on the inner face of the thermal liner so no single-use plastic liner bags are required. In addition, the KoolPak has three independent leakproof layers which further eliminates the need for a single-use plastic liner bag.

Is the Koolpak Airline Approved?Yes. The KoolPak is Airline approved to 25 kg without the need for a single-use plastic liner bag. Airfreight approval number 8597.

What is the KoolPak made of?KoolPak lids and bases are constructed of up to 90% recycled polypropylene. The thermal liner is constructed of polyethene film and foam. As no components of the KoolPak are physically or chemically blended (co-mingled) they are readily recyclable.

Is the KoolPak Kerbside recyclable?Recycling can only be achieved via an authorised collection centre. This can be coordinated through TomKat Global Solutions and our network of distributors, manufacturers and project supporters.

Isn’t the KoolPak just another plastic packaging product?Choosing the right plastics for the right application is very important. Because the KoolPak can be re-used multiple times it has a very small environmental footprint compared with conventional expanded polystyrene boxes and other single-use alternatives to EPS on the market. Re-use should always take precedence over simply recycling. It is also important to think about emissions that may come from composting or biodegrading.
