Yes. The KoolPak has been designed specifically for reuse. In-market trials have reported KoolPaks being reused 30+ times and still in good condition.

No. We have developed customised anti-microbial food grade films which are on the inner face of the thermal liner, so no single-use plastic liner bags are required. In addition, the KoolPak has three independent leakproof layers which further eliminates the need for a single-use plastic liner bag.
Yes. The KoolPak 56L Silver is Airline approved to 25 kg without the need for a single-use plastic liner bag. Airfreight approval number 8597.
The KoolPak 32L Silver is pending Airline Approval.
KoolPak lids and bases are constructed of up to 90% recycled polypropylene with the remainder virgin polypropylene.
The thermal liner is constructed of polyethene film and foam.
As no components of the KoolPak are physically or chemically blended (co-mingled) they are readily recyclable after multiple uses.
Recycling can only be achieved via an authorised collection centre.
This can be coordinated through TomKat Global Solutions and our network of distributors, manufacturers and project supporters.
A cash-back credit is in the pipeline when KoolPaks are returned to an authorised recycling centre.
The KoolPak has been designed for the circular economy. Collect your used KoolPak every time you make a delivery or arrange a return system with your customers. KoolPaks flat pack for ease of storage and return delivery.
Choosing the right plastics for the right application is very important. Because the KoolPak can be reused multiple times it has a very small environmental footprint compared with conventional expanded polystyrene boxes and other single-use alternatives to EPS. Reuse should always take precedence over simply recycling. It is also important to think about emissions that may come from composting or biodegrading.
Download the KoolPak app from Google Play Store or the App Store.
Yes. If a lid, base or liner is damaged, cost-effective independently replaceable components are available, so your KoolPak can continue its use.
